Charles G. Curie is the principal and founder of THE CURIE GROUP, LLC, a management and consult­ing firm working with leaders in the healthcare field.  From 2001-2006, he served as the head of the Sub­stance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the agency responsible for improv­ing the accountability, capacity, and effectiveness of the Nation’s substance abuse prevention, addictions treatment, and mental health services, including the Strategic Prevention Framework for substance use prevention.
